This is a self install mod kit for the wonderful Casio RZ-1 which expands the sounds from just one bank ( RZ-1) to sixteen. Plus you get a choice of stock, 1.96u or 2.0u firmware (selectable by jumper). A rotary switch selects the active bank or you can control the bank selection by MIDI.
We send you the mod kit and you install it yourself.

The user can reprogram (separate programmer required) to change one or more banks to his own drum hit sounds
The mod kit contains a sound bank board with it's own onboard processor, firmware PCB with flash memory, rotary switch, knob, DIL sockets, MIDI LED and cables. Fully tested. You will need to de-solder the onlf ROM from your Casio RZ-1 and install sockets for the new PCB. Some drilling of the front panel is required alos. Drum machine not included
